Since the beginning, Salis gave the worst example, out respect for politicians and literary institutions, he weared waiters like academicians. A lot of song-writers began to sing satiric songs with an unusual insolence. That was the "Chat Noir" tendency. Parisians were completely seduce. They came to the hillock to see the politicians of this III Republic, very rich in grotesque personalities with a doubtful honesty. Parisians looked at them like they see a punch and judy show. Chat Noir created a new genre of music too, "Montmartroise songs".
